What have you done to nourish your soul?
I know that you do things every day to take care of your body and your mind. At the very least, you must feed yourself, take care of your dental hygiene, and maybe you read a book every once in a while or listen to a podcast. But I wonder if you are doing anything to take care of your soul on a daily basis.
Most people would probably have no daily practice to nourish their souls. Whether you are religious or spiritual, you should have something in place that you do every day to take care of your soul. Whatever spiritual path you follow, if you are following something that will help you to be happier.
When we are living too much in our mind and constantly trying to make sense of every situation, we can find ourselves spinning in circles. Einstein says that doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. So we have to be conscious of when we get to the point where we are running around in circles, so we have the ability to stop. Not everything in life is going to make perfect logical sense, especially when you are dealing with the spiritual realm.
The Spirit and The Soul
Life is tough and we go through a lot of disappointment. This can break down the spirit and the soul, and end up spending way too much time spinning around in the head. When we start putting more energy into the spirit, we can get better. I am not asking you to deny the existence of bad things. We need to have healthier ways of dealing with it so it doesn’t destroy us.
If you keep replaying negative events in your head, you are putting yourself through it over and over again, when in reality the event was just a small part of your life. If you are currently doing this, you need to get the steering wheel of your life back. This is what the ebook will help with. Your body can’t tell the difference between something you are playing in your head and something you are actually experiencing. It feels like that event is still happening to you all the time. And you are going to attract more negative energy. Moods are supposed to come and go.
Be the owner of happiness
Practice something that you believe in to cope. Don’t let negative experiences define you. Just because something happened to you in the past, no matter how traumatic, that doesn’t mean you have to be unhappy forever. There is plenty of happiness to go around, and the best way to get some is to give some. Give someone some joy today, give yourself some joy today, participate in happiness.
